I agree. For anyone to believe that we humans from Earth are the only life in all of the universe, is perverse and ludicrous. How can the scientific community, with all that they know, go about telling everyone that there is no such thing as extraterestrial life? That is what I believe, devo65.

However, let me play devil's addvocate here for just a minute. Ok, so lets say that the universe is still young, no life exists except ours (hey, life has to start somewhere) so looking at it that way, perhaps we "could" be the only life out here.

Don't dissmiss this thought right a way, please give it some serious consideration I have.

I have thought about this, from time to time, but I still gotta believe that we are NOT alone in the universe.

People ask, "Why havn't we been contacted?" Well, maybe we are way to young and not worth contacting yet. Just because there is other life out there, that doesn't mean that they "have" to contact us, thats also arrogant.

Purhaps when we are mature enough then we will be contacted and shown the wonders of the universe.

Thanks for listening.
