I am looking to start an online RPG. We will be playing AD&D 2nd edition, with some modified house rules. Some of the house rules include, but are not limited to:
Character Creation -
4d6 for each stat, drop the lowest die roll. You must have at least 1 16 in order to keep your stats. No 16s means you start over. 1 16 means you keep your stats.
Certain races are not allowed. These are Fremlins (+1 or better weapon to hit), Saurials (can't ever learn to communicate except through sign language, and I am not a sign interpreter), Wemics (9 attacks every 2 rounds at first level), Thri-Kreen ( see Wemic, only more attacks).
Humans may put their ability scores in any order they wish. Demi-humans must keep their scores in the order they roll them (Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha).
Please keep in mind that these rules are breakable on a case-by-case basis. If you have a good reason why you feel you should be allowed to break one of these rules, consent the dm (once again me!), and we will discuss the possibility.
Also, this is a good-aligned campaign. No evil, no chaotic neutral. Exceptions to this rule will not be made for anybody for any reason, so don't ask! I don't want people saying "Well, I am a thief, and in order to steal stuff I have to be evil!". Ain't gonna happen. This goes the same for the fighter who says "Killing is evil, and in order to kill we have to be evil!".
If you are interested in this, please email me at clivermore@mcofc.com, or just click my handle (which should allow you to email me at the above email address). I hope to hear from some people on this soon, cuz I am itching to play!
