Audio book, Read by James Doohan with Leonard Nimoy as the voice of Spock.

Sequel to "Yesterday's Son" by the same author

Side Note - Vacation!!! What a great time to catch up on ST Books! Did you all miss me??? Actually, I did very little reading. I went to my library and check out the audio version of the books. I listen to them while traveling to the beach and the mountains during my week of play!

The is something wrong with the Guardian of Forever. It is ripping the universe apart with time distortion ways. There is no way to reach it. There is only one who has ever successfully mind melded with the Guardian and he is 5000 years dead, Zar, the son of Spock and Zarabeth. Spock, Kirk, and McCoy must some how travel back in time to retrieve Zar so he can mind meld with the Guardian to see what the problem is and find a solution before all is lost. Once again, Spock is reunited with his lost son. He see's the progress Zar has made with his people, but also knows the fait that awaits his son. Spock must struggle with is feelings and logic. An exciting and exciting story.

This story takes place before the events in ST II "The Wrath of Khan" One does not have to read the first book "Yesterday's Son", to enjoyed but is recommended.
