I just finished viewing the miniseries "Children of Dune". I decided to watch it despite the awful acting of the remake of "Dune". I was surprised of the improvement of Alec Newman's acting skills...but that's not why I created this topic.

Where did the Sci-Fi Channel find these actresses? Daniela Amavia (Alia) Barbara Kodetova (Chani) and Jessica Brooks (Ghanima). Whoever casted them in the roles aforementioned should be rewarded. Not only are they very nice to look at, a key element in sci fi movies, but they can act!

According to online research, they haven't appeared in any other movie. Unless I am wrong, which I hope I am....

Must also send kudos for hiring Oscar winner Susan Sarandon as Princess Wensicia and Alice Krige as Jessica Atreides.
