The new Battlefield Earth DVD by Warner Home Video was #2
nationwide bestseller in first week of release as listed
in Hollywood Reporer on Jan 25. This format of the movie by director Roger Christian (George Lucas's associate on Star Wars films is a must see for SF movie fans. Fans of the book will want to own it and see again and again as DVD brings out details not easily seen in theater showing. SFX captured on DVD are spectacular especially when you find out how much it was made for in director's and production designer's running commentary about the film, which is one of many special features. Mainstream critics have created another Blade Runner.
