I don't think Galactica should be a weekly series as the original was. These people are going to be wandering around for a while in the night. A lot of boring wandering. I think a group of miniseries might be the better way to go. The highlights of the fleet's pilgrimage. IF the writers and directors of BSG 2003 are reading this consider the possibility of picking up the story about three years down the road. About the time the crew figures out Adama hasn't a clue where Earth is and Boomer discovers she isnt quite human. I just think a series of Galactica movies would be a better way to go rather than a weekly series and I think you could tell a more effective and gripping story. Also consider the possibility that the Galactica somehow stumbles onto our voyager probe about the same time. It was voyager two that had the directions to Earth and our greetings recorded on a gold record wasn't it? The crew would wonder whether it was a Cylon trick to send them into a trap. Some plot ideas. In all I like the two part series. I think we could see a little more of the cylons. Both machine and humanoid. Boomer's personal struggle with her own false humanity should be interesting to say the least. And you could add the unforseen complication of having the cylon humans start developing the darker human emotions of greed and jelousy. They have done a little of that already but you could also have those emotions somehow be their undoing. Well just some thoughts from an old Galactica fan
