While I DO realize that not every TV movie will please everyone, I thought that this one was head and shoulders above the others that I've watched here on the SciFi Channel. Edward James Olmos was a new kind of warrior Adama--he fought a cylon to the death in a bloody battle that would never have been part of the old series. Starbuck turned out to be one of the most engaging female characters my husband or I have seen in science fiction in YEARS. Apollo is now an infinitely more complex young warrior, working his way through a huge chip on his shoulder to a new adult relationship with his flawed father.....

OK, I'll shut up now ;o) I just wish that a lot of the detractors of this new version would watch it again, putting their other issues aside for 4 hours. I think that this TV movie succeeds on many levels.
